Fire crews responded to the scene of a building explosion in Chicago on Tuesday. Multiple people were injured in Chicago after a building explosion Tuesday morning, fire department officials said. The Chicago Fire Department said eight people were transported to nearby hospitals after the structure collapsed in the South Austin neighborhood. Three of those people transported were in serious to critical condition, fire officials said, as they continued to search for other people.
